Terms of Use

These terms apply to the EduManager web platform at edumanagerinfosys.ng and the EduManager mobile app, provided by Edumanager Information System Ltd (“EduManager”, “we”, “us”). By using EduManager, you agree to them. A school that subscribes to EduManager (the “School”) also agrees to them on behalf of its staff.

1. Accounts

  • Accounts for staff, students and parents are created by the School. You may use only the account given to you.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell your school administrator straight away if you think someone else has used it.
  • The School is responsible for keeping its administrator credentials confidential. Unauthorised access that results from a compromised School password is the School’s responsibility.
  • The School decides who has access and what each person can do, and can suspend or remove an account at any time.

2. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • try to access records, accounts or parts of the service you have not been given access to;
  • change records you are not authorised to change, including scores, results, attendance or payments;
  • upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to share;
  • interfere with the service, test its security without our written permission, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer it;
  • use the service to send unsolicited messages.

3. Ownership

  • The software: the EduManager platform and apps, including their code, design and content, belong to EduManager.
  • The data: all data a School enters into EduManager belongs to the School. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions and fees

Schools pay for EduManager on the plan they choose, as shown on our pricing page or agreed with us in writing. If a subscription is not paid, we may limit access until it is. School fees owed by students are a matter between the School and the family; the School decides, for example, whether results are withheld for unpaid fees.

5. Availability

We aim for 99.9% availability. We announce planned maintenance that may interrupt the service on the platform at least 48 hours in advance. We may change or improve features over time.

6. Accuracy of records

EduManager calculates totals, averages, positions and similar figures from the data entered. The School and its staff are responsible for the accuracy of that data and for decisions made using it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, EduManager is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses caused by:

  • power failures or internet problems at the School or the user’s location;
  • events outside our reasonable control;
  • incorrect data entered by users, or decisions made based on it;
  • misuse of an account by someone with its password.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. A School may stop using EduManager at any time under its subscription. When it does, we handle its data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use EduManager after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
